Evidence Based Practice - Nursing

Welcome

Evidence Based Practice (EBP) is the integration of best research evidence with clinical expertise and patient values (Sackett, et al., 2001). [1*]

The steps to EBP are:
1. formation of a question
2. finding evidence
3. critiquing information
4. developing a change in practice
5. evaluating that change

This site was developed to assist nurses in finding and critiquing information to support and/or change current nursing practice.
